Introduction to Twelve’s Responsive Slider — It’s cool

A slider for developers who want more stylistic control

Twelve’s Slider (named after my cat of course) is a simple, easy to use, and pretty customizable responsive content slider. It can display any kind of content (text, images, video, etc.) and comes with several ways to customize it to fit your need. I use it when I need a little bit more control on my slider’s appearance then others give me.

Options allow you to set your width, height, max-width, and min-width. These may be set with either pixels or percentages. If no height is provided (RECOMENDED IF YOU INTEND THIS TO BE RESPONSIVE), the height will adjust to satisfy your tallest slide and will fluidly grow and shrink to constantly contain your content. Other options include whether or not you wish to use navigation, type of easing, trasition interval and speed, and more. These will all be explained below.

Right now Twelve’s slider only has a “slide” animation but expect more options here in the future.

Twelve’s Slider is still in the raw and was created out of necesity for specific projects. If it fits your need that’s wonderful. If it doesn’t fufill you entirely please let me know and I will consider your concerns/recomendations in the next version.

You can find the slider here along with documentation.
