One day I'm going to make a separate site just for the Siren but for now its home is just this blog. I use Siren a TON for my client work (at least as a starting point while creating the layout) and for this Site I needed a break. I used David DeSandro's jQuery plug-in Masonry (http://masonry.desandro.com/) as a base for this layout. Its tons of fun to play around with and works great with "blocky" designs.

Interesting. I was struggling with the original 1140 CSS Grid regarding nested rows/columns. And came up partially with my own modifications. I called this hybrid 1112 Grid. Now I'm somehow lost in confusion about new HTML5 semantic elements, css selectors and nesting and in the process my grid breaks all over the place.

I'll study this one carefully - maybe it's the way out.

One downside, though. On this very page you aren't using your own grid system. Doesn't really help promoting it, does it?
